Even though it's been raining cats & dogs today we can already spot you exploring the festival, and even having fun in the cold rain! Before the festival is officially launched at 3PM you can explore the festival grounds, scour the shopping opprotunities at the Shopping Lane, or learn more about the various organizations, which showcase their work at the AFA hill!
We would like to cordially invite you to take part in a meeting with Jerzy Stuhr, which will take place at 10 AM in the Big AFA tent. The talk with the esteemed actor, director, and writer is a rare opportunity to ask him questions about his life and his art. The meeting with the cult actor will be followed by a talk by Janina Ochojska, founder and presidend of Polish Humanitarian Action - a tireless charity activist and aid worker and promoter. A conversation with Obundsman, Adam Bodnar, and Michał Wawrzyniak about hate and the ways we can deal with negativity online will follow. The Night AFA Stage will be taken over by jazz rascals from Tie Break. Skubas will be closing the day at AFA.
The Main Stage will come alive at 3pm. The first day at the Main Stage will belong to Luxtorpeda, Vintage Trouble, The Hives, and Molotov. Headliners from abroad will be joined by Polish bands such as Luxtorpeda and Hey. The Second Stage has a mix of heavier sounds from Materia and Daybreak Embrace and softer, reggae sounds from Rocky Dawuni, who will be closing the day.
Viva Kultura Tent Stage is launched at 1:30 PM and the punk-infused acts will be playing continuously till the late evening hours.
If you are getting ready to leave for Kostrzyn nad Odrą - don't hesitate! Just remember to pack your wellies, grab some hardy waterproofs and join us at what will surely prove to be the Most Beautiful Festival in the World!
